Cyrsti's Condo "Cover Girl" of the Day
Our feature cover for Tuesday is A.D. Miles. A.D. as I understood it, was a writer for the Jimmy Fallon Show several years ago when the show was doing a ensemble drag skit. I always thought, AD showed way too much talent for his/her chance to cross dress on national TV. What a great way for a cross dressing writer to just act like he "came up" with this idea out of the clear blue sky and he just happened to look so good?
Perhaps, in his past, AD discovered his "talent" at a womanless beauty pageant?

Would You-If you Could?
The past couple of days, I've been as sick as a kitty who ate a rotten mouse, so I've refrained from doing anything much on line as I have a tendency to become rather "snarky" with the world.
Today though, I did get bored enough that I climbed out of my death bed and to my computer...priorities-right? Who says blogging doesn't become a lifestyle?
This morning by accident I ran across one of the many quality MtF cross dresser makeover services. This one just happened to be across the pond in the UK and is called The Makeover Room . Over the years, I've known several individuals who have taken advantage of similar services. Depending on your reason's for going, the results can be fabulous
My example from several years ago, had nothing to do with me but involved a couple other cross dressers I know. One of them went to a makeover specialist and ended up with a positively knock out set of pictures. So good as a matter of fact, the other CD ended up putting up one of the pictures on his gym locker where he played tennis and golf. No one ever knew and in fact wondered if the "woman" in the picture was his mistress. I certainly can't document it, but I just have to believe that somewhere/sometime there has been a guy who has put a picture of his "sister" up in his office somewhere- who of course was him.
As with so many of the other layers of the cross dressing community, from simply wearing panties at work, to shopping at the mall-the culture of makeover pictures fascinate me. On one hand I wonder if becoming the "feminine person in the picture" becomes a priority until one just decides to be her. Or, is the person in the picture good enough? Not unlike the first time participant in a womanless beauty pageant who happens to look great. Does he want to go back to the well for another drink?
As a point of reference, the cross dresser I knew with the "hot" pictures never had the where withal or desire to live as a woman at all. He would have a tough time presenting as a woman in public. Instead, for the longest time, he had a very active Flickr account (and always looked sexy) until recently he disappeared. I just think all the different aspects of how gender plays in our minds is just fascinating. Including one person I know who corresponded back and forth for years as a genetic woman with a cis guy who never knew. I always told him, how did he know the guy he was chatting with wasn't a woman?
At times like that, the old lines of communication don't seem so bad. Until, I remembered adding just a touch of my perfume to letters I was writing to a man "back in the day" ( He did know I was a cross dresser.) I also remember wondering what would have happened if my wife would have caught me doing it or his wife getting the letter before he did?
One benefit of age is, you can gloss over the spots of your life you weren't really proud of or think, just what the hell was I thinking? Most of the time, I would have-if I could-and did.

Behind Every Womanless Pageant...There is a Cross Dresser
Back in the day when Halloween was my only real time I could get out in the world and "strut my feminine stuff", the challenge was to come up with other "excuses" to have a costume party. Of course Mardi Gras comes to mind as well as a few manufactured others which were less than successful.
In school and later in life, I remember exactly no womanless beauty pageant contests where I lived until they became popular with cancer fund raising events. By then, I was exploring the world as a woman anyhow. Every so often here in Cyrsti's Condo, we discuss the true dynamics of how some men simply shine in womanless pageants and would those of us who were hidden away in our closets cross dressing been too paranoid to compete?
I know for sure I would have in high school.
Just for kicks and giggles, I'm going to post this picture from a womanless pageant in Dover, Tennessee and ask you to pick the cross dresser out of the crowd. I think he did a pretty good job of not looking too obvious! Or did he?

"Engineering" a Cross Dresser?
Here in Cyrsti's Condo, it's worth the time to go back and take a look!
The first is from 2013, the second from 2007. This place has been engineering women for awhile! Wonder if they give cross dressing scholarships or if an aspiring transgender student chooses this school with an ulterior motive?

Cyrsti's Condo "Womanless Wonder"
Awwwwright, here is my disclaimer kids. I happen upon these untitled pictures which I think are involved with a womanless beauty pageant of sorts. Then, I come up with an off the wall idea of what the person is thinking.
Here is my latest:
"Dammit!" First they talked me into shaving my legs, doing my nails and wearing these heels. But what's up with this crummy wig and hell no I'm not leaving like this to go eat beer and wings. Wait though, I came here like this! Ooooh how will I pee?

Womanless Pageant Hits and "Misses"
I don't find many new womanless pageant pictures floating around the web anymore. I think it's primarily due to the fact that these days, if someone snaps a picture of you in a dress-it can turn up anywhere. (Including Cyrsti's Condo).
Every once in a while I do see one or two which I think are interesting because of the other people shown. Could be a girlfriend, Mom or fellow student.

A Cyrsti's Condo "Must Read!"
From the HuffPost Gay Voices, comes a must read post by Adrian Acosta called "Why Men Come to Me to be Transformed into Women."
Here's an excerpt:
There are many things I love about doing makeover transformations. I love my client's faces gleaming with delight as they see their femme selves in the mirror. It's like a child's face on Christmas morning. It's the kind of happiness that is contagious. I love that they are emotionally transported to an alternate universe where they are a beautiful, sensual female: The female inside they have suppressed for years. To tell you the truth, by the time I'm done transforming them, I have a hard time believing that they had been males just a few hours before they arrived in my studio. To me they are a beautiful female standing in front of me; I respect them and treat them as such.
On a deeper level, I love the fact that while out in the world there are men robbing, stealing, raping, killing, etc. -- in my Transformation Studio, it's just me and my client; two men relaxing, having fun, chatting, laughing, creating sensual art. Imagine how peaceful and fun the world would be if more men allowed themselves to get a Boy-to-Girl Transformation, to literally walk in women's shoes?
Truthfully, as I started to read the post, I was thinking snarky/bitchy thoughts like is Adrian some sort of SRS God? Can change he men into women with magic makeup? Or, am I going to read yet another "drag centric" post from a cis gay man who has no idea what my transgender world is like? I was pleasantly surprised and I think you will be too because Adrian covered much of what I didn't expect to read- and more.
I did wonder though, if more than a few of his clients developed a taste for feminine finery from school day "womanless pageants" or even fraternity "hazing" shows. Plus, if just for a second, you can enter the world of an attractive or beautiful woman, what a powerful elixir it can be!

Merry Christmas Alice!
Alice is one of our regular visitors here in Crysti's Condo and I know follows all the womanless beauty pageants with great interest.
This unfortunately is not one of those Alice but yet I thought would be of interest to all of us if this happened in our apartment building and we were not asked to participate!

"Beautiful Ohio" Native
Well, not quite. The winner of this year's "Miss International Queen" pageant in Thailand this year is yet another gorgeous transgender beauty from Brazil. We have featured pictures of Marcelo Ohio here in Cyrsti's Condo before but why stop a good thing? The second picture was taken of her getting her hair straightened proving once again you have to pay the price for beauty, judging from the look on her face.Friday, November 1, 2013
Tanya Maung
Good news for the transgender world, Myanmar, and Tanya Maung. This year, a contestant from Myanmar (formerly Burma) has entered the "Miss International Queen" pageant for the first time."Five years ago I would not have dared to enter," said Tanya Maung, 28, who is studying at Bangkok’s Ramkhamhaeng University. "But now Myanmar has democracy, so I feel free to contest."
Personally, I have viewed the pageant as more of a glorified show girl presentation, not one that speaks to the world of new found transgender freedoms.
I love it when I'm wrong-this time!

Top Womanless Beauty Pageant Scheduled in Thailand
Once again, Pattaya in Thailand will be getting its third transvestite beauty pageant. It's called the "Mimosa" and is scheduled for Nov. 14-17.This pageant is certainly no secret to most of us and features a wide range of cross dressing to transsexual women competing for the title. Often the beauty is breathtaking.
I'm partial to the event because of it's location too. I like to joke I'm one of the few transgender people I know who spent a year in Thailand and didn't go through SRS. Then as in now, the Army sort of frowned on the activity. Plus, Pattaya was very close to a small Army base in Thailand which processed me in and out of the country in 1973 ish. The word was then, as soon as the Vietnam War that never happened was over, the whole area would boom into an international resort. How right they were!

Womanless Beauty Pageant
I'm putting this video up on the Cyrsti's Condo big screen from the sheer fact it is one of the best produced womanless pageant videos I have found, not because of the quality of the participants. Speaking of participants, I have determined my own breakdown:
1.- guys who are doing it for fun
2.- guys who started out doing it for fun but just maybe want to see how they look in heels and hose.
3.- guys who saw themselves in heels and hose and liked it.
4.- guys who liked the experience in the past so much they came back for more.
5.-guys who were doing it anyhow and just had the chance to dazzle the world!
6.-guys you are sure to see in a future drag show, or in the mall
Of course, all were "talked into it against their will"!

Womanless Beauty Reality
Several years ago there was an all so brief reality show called "He's a Lady". The winning contestant received 250,000 dollars and supposedly had no idea of what they were getting them selves into. As we chat about here in Cyrsti's Condo and elsewhere, rather or not they admit it, many guys in womanless beauty pageants do know what they are getting themselves into. This show was no different. I'm passing along one of the first episodes from YouTube and all is really sort of mundane until we get to Albert/Alberta about 6 minutes or so into the video. When they let him see himself in the mirror, he showed absolutely no surprise that he was gorgeous-none. I'm thinking Albert had seen Alberta before. You have to wait for the other beauty and make your decision at the end:

This Dad "Nailed" Father's Day
I saw this picture yesterday as I was making my usual stop at Stana's Femulate site. Stana couldn't remember when she found it or who it was except the picture was a "Father/Daughter" combo. Well of course "dear old Dad" was absolutely stunning but I wondered just what the daughter was thinking.Being me of course , I do have a couple ideas of what might have been going through daughter's mind. Behind the smile:
1.- Dammit! Who would have thought at this time in my life, I would have to compete with Dad for attention?
2.-Does anyone really think this was the first time he has dressed this way for a womanless beauty pageant.
3.-Where the hell is Mom and is she the smart one for not being in this picture.
4.-When Dad is not looking, I'm going to see if those shoes fit me.
5.- Just where the hell did he learn to pose like that for a picture?
6.- Wow! I hope I inherited his gene's and not the ones he wears!
7.- Got cha! She is not my Dad at all, she's my boyfriend!
8.- Wait a minute, is that MY new bag?
Here's your link over to Femulate for more.

The Women of "Hot-Lanta"
Perhaps the premier event in the country showcasing the most beautiful cross dressed men is the Atlanta Cotillion . This year's event was this past weekend but here's look at the 2011 womanless beauty pageant on the Cyrsti's Condo big screen:

Fiction
Monday, May 13, 2013
From the Bangkok Post:"The winner of the Miss Tiffany Universe 2009 contest, Sorrawee "Jazz" Nattee, entered the monkhood on Sunday at a temple in the southern province of Songkhla, it was reported on Monday. According to the family of the transsexual beauty pageant winner, Jazz, 24, had breast implants but never had transgender surgery. The silicon implants had since been removed. "I want to be a monk for the rest of my life and I'm ready to leave my worldly possessions behind," Jazz said after becoming a monk at Wat Liab in his home province. "It's not that I've become a monk to run away from problems, but I've studied dharma for two years and now know what it truly is." The monk, whose ordination name is Phra Maha Viriyo Bhikku, which means one who is diligent, said he took part in the transsexual beauty contest four years ago because his parents urged him to."
In case you didn't know, only males can become Buddhist monks in Thailand.

Mister?
No surprise this year's Thailand womanless beauty pageant winner was again a total beauty. Quoting the news release "a captivating ladyboy named Nek was crowned Miss Tiffany Universe 2013".Here is the part of the release I found humorous:
"The dazzling ladyboy who captivated the judges to win the crown of Miss Tiffany Universe 2013 was Mr. Natenaphada Kalyanon or Nek." Mister?????
