Mo Super Powers

Well!
I certain person I know wanted me to add a couple more of my super powers to Cyrsti's Condo.

I can be a huge pain in the rear.
I can be a huge pest.
I can be a little "scattered".

There, are you happy?

Can't a girl have a few flaws? :)

Speaking of scattered, (not me this time sillies)  here's a video for you. NOT PG rated in the language department.  Get the kids from out of in front of the computer and turn on SheZow for them!

Super Human Powers?

Come on now, have you thought an "itty bitty bit" about what sort of "superhuman" powers you may want? How about a figure to match a "Wonder Woman" costume at Halloween, or how about a "SheZow" super ring which turns you into a female super hero everytime you say "you go girl"?

That's all right, it's your secret and we won't tell!

Now it seems the folks at theFrisky have taken this idea a step further and tied your superpower possibilities in with your Astrological sign. We Libra's did well!  :

"Libra–Shape Shifting. Your ability to change shape allows you to adapt to any situation, environment, or group of people. This power allows you to experience life in many different forms."

I like it!!! If I have your curiosity and want to know your superpower, go here.

"P.O.ing" One Million Moms!

Wow, I thought I may be in trouble when I was in trouble with just one Mom. My own!

Super Hero SheZow has did the impossible and aggravated One Million Moms at once! ShaZam!!!!!!!!!

Here's the story from Advocate.com:

"One Million Moms called Hub Network's decision to air SheZow an "attempt by the gay, lesbian and transgender community to indoctrinate our children into accepting their lifestyles." The so-called million moms (whose Facebook friends actually number fewer than 60,000) went on to declare, "The media is determined to pollute the minds of our children and there is no better way to desensitize them than through a cartoon program. Everyone knows children are drawn to animated shows; both boys and girls love superheroes.

This character especially will appeal to both boys and girls since the superhero represents both genders by cross-dressing and being transgendered."

That's pretty loaded language for an otherwise innocuous show that doesn't actually star a character who identifies as trans."

Being the moral "God fearing" group they are- God forbid if they would have to sit down with their children and explain how a diverse culture is good for them!

"She Zow" Review

Figure by "Onixgreystone"
Before I forget, which at my age is a common instance every hour, I did get a chance to watch the SheZow animated kids show on Saturday.

It's on the Hub network which as I understand it, has very low ratings.  Amazingly though,  I do have the Hub as part of my 500 channels and there is nothing on -satellite package.

Have to tell you the character in SheZow came a long way from my old school Bugs Bunny in drag cartoon days.

I didn't get much out of it except one tiny part where sister tries to explain the basics of female intuition to the newly feminine SheZow.  She simply said I really don't know why I feel this way- I just do.

Of course on a much deeper level it matters not what I got out of the cartoon. It's what the kids did.

If you haven't seen any of it, of course there are snippets on YouTube and here is the opening intro on the Cyrsti's Condo big screen:

Every Kid's Dream?

This Saturday the Children's network The Hub is introducing an animated series with a new super-heroine named SheZow  Turns out  that SheZow's alter-ego is actually a 12-year-old boy named Guy.  Guy magically  transforms into a female costumed crime-fighter by uttering the phrase "You Go Girl!" and using a power ring inherited from his dead aunt.
ShaZam! How I would have loved a ring like that when I was 12! I'm pretty sure I would have "misplaced" the ring when it was time to switch back!

As I was looking at the above pix, I noticed the girl behind SheZow and her raised eyebrow thinking Wow I wish I looked as good in those boots. The kid on the floor? Typical first time reaction from insecure male. Tomorrow, he will be asking to borrow the ring.

Go to the Los Angeles Times  to catch more on this upcoming series and then figure out how to commandeer the television from your kids to watch it.
